BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - There are multiple events planned to mark Veterans Day 2025 in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas.

Below is a list of some of the events taking place:

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9

Gonzales Veterans Day Parade: Gonzales is hosting its Veterans Parade at 2 p.m. The parade is expected to travel along Irma Boulevard, Worthy Road, Burnside Avenue, and Cornerview Street.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11

Zachary Veterans Day: Zachary is hosting its annual Veterans Day flag-raising ceremony and parade.

The ceremony will take place at 7:30 a.m. at the Regional Veterans Park behind Lane Regional Medical Center.
