ST. DAVID, Ariz. - A 21-year-old man is now getting medical treatment at a Tucson hospital after a shooting Friday night in St. David.

According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened just before 11:30 p.m. Friday in St. David off Miller Ln. and Patton St.

Authorities say the victim, a Benson resident, was shot in the legs. The Cochise County Sheriff's Office says according to witnesses, the victim and the suspect were both at a gathering in St. David when an altercation led to the shooting. The suspect fled the scene.

Currently, the suspect remains at large. According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, an attempt to locate has been issued.
