The Toronto Blue Jays came within one win of their first World Series title in more than 30 years. After falling short in a heartbreaking Game 7 loss, the team now seems ready to go big in the offseason.
On MLB Tonight: The Insiders, veteran reporter Joel Sherman said the Blue Jays are expected to be very aggressive as they look to build on their 2025 success.
“First of all, they have been willing to do a lot in the past,” Sherman said. “They tried hard for [Shohei] Ohtani and [Juan] Soto. They just went to game 7 of the World Series, which means they know they are close, and they also made a lot of money, and have some obvious needs and desires.”
Sherman added that another agenda for the front office will be to keep Bo Bichette or find his replacement.
