(Gray News) – A woman convicted of performing an illegal and fatal butt lift procedure was sentenced to prison last week.

Libby Adame, 55, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for performing the botched procedures, according to People .

Adame was convicted in October in the death of actress Cindyana Santangelo, who died shortly after receiving the injections, the LA Times reported .

Santangelo was best known for her role on “Married with Children.” She was 58 when she died.

According to People, Adame was previously convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2024 for giving fatal butt injections to Karissa Rajpual in 2019. Adame’s daughter, Alicia Galaz, was also convicted.
