HOUMA, La. —
Houma police arrested a man after an attempted robbery near Lumiere Bistro.

According to police, two women reported being confronted by a man, who was showing what appeared to be a gun, blocking their path and demanding money.
Police found the man, later identified as James Domangue, 75, near Wood and Liberty Streets.
A BB pellet gun that resembled a real gun was found in his wristband and placed into evidence.
Domangue is being charged with two counts of attempted armed robbery and one count of false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon.
