Born Aug. 6, 1980, in the Bronx, NY, to Judith and Cary Lubowsky, and Ruff grew up in Washington Township, alongside her sister Samantha, her obituary says. She was married to Michael James Ruff, sharing 14 years of marriage, and mom to Gavin and Vincent, who were the lights of her life, her obituary continues.

A 1998 graduate of Washington Township High School, Ruff earned her bachelor’s degree from Immaculata College and later continued her education through online courses. She spent more than a decade as Associate Director of Facility Operations at Jefferson Hospital, where colleagues described her as family, previously working at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, earning admiration for her dedication and work ethic, according to her obituary.

“Our community is heartbroken over the sudden passing of Christina Ruff, a beloved wife, mother, and friend,” the fundraiser reads. “Christina’s warmth, kindness, and bright smile touched everyone who knew her.”
