PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- An explosion inside a Woodburn motel room left three people hospitalized and prompted evacuations late Saturday night, authorities said.
Just after 10:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of the explosion at the Woodburn Inn on North Pacific Highway.
Arriving at the scene, police said they found a 25-year-old man bleeding outside of one of the rooms on the ground floor.
Officials said his injuries were likely caused by flying glass and debris spread across the parking lot after the explosion, which came from inside one of the motel rooms.
It was inside that motel room where officers found a 33-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man with burn injuries, officials said.
The entire motel was then evacuated and all three victims were taken to hospitals with non-lif
