Two men and a woman suffered burns from an explosion inside a room of the Woodburn Inn on North Pacific Highway Saturday night.

Police said they’re still investigating to determine the cause of the explosion. No bombs or other incendiary devices were discovered during a preliminary examination, police said.

Woodburn officers were sent to the motel at 10:42 p.m.

They found a 25-year-old man bleeding outside a ground-floor room and broken glass and debris littered the parking lot in front, according to police.

A 33-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were still inside the motel room and also suffered from burns, police said.

The three were taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
