On Sunday, the Sacramento Kings (3-6) host the Minnesota Timberwolves (5-4) at the Golden 1 Center, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Kings are coming off a 132-101 loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday in the NBA Cup. The two teams traded the lead a few times in the first half before the Thunder pulled away for good, leading by as many as 34 points in the fourth quarter.
Russell Westbrook led the Kings with 24 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, DeMar DeRozan scored 18 points and Drew Eubanks added 16 points in place of Domantas Sabonis. They are 0-1 in the in-season tournament, with three group games remaining.
The Timberwolves defeated the Utah Jazz 137-97 to open the NBA Cup on Friday, their largest win against their Northwest Division rivals. They led for the entire contest after shooting a season-high 56.8% from the floor for their first wire-to-wire victory.
Anthony Edwards paced the Timberwolves with 37 points and five rebounds, Jaden McDaniels had 22 points and seven rebounds and Julius Randle added 19 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Randle registered his second triple-double of the season and the 16th of his career.
The Timberwolves and Kings are meeting for the first of three matchups this season. The two teams split the series last year, 2-2, though Minnesota has won five straight in Sacramento.
