MARYSVILLE, Calif. (KCRA) – A man in California was left injured and his car’s windshield broken after he says someone threw a frozen water balloon at it while he was driving.
Alex Plant said it happened while he was heading home from work around 9:30 Thursday night.
“It came through the window and hit me in the face,” he said. “Forced a lot of this glass into my face, in my eyes.”
Plant said he was driving on Highway 20 near Hallwood Boulevard, going at about 45 miles per hour.
That’s when he said a person in a car going the opposite direction threw something out the window.
“I barely saw it for a quarter of a second before it just came straight through,” he said.
He was able to pull off the highway where he asked Siri to call 911, still confused about what hit him.
