Ready or not, snow is coming to Northeast Ohio, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service has called for a Winter Weather Advisory starting at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 for several Northeast Ohio counties. Heavy lake-effect snow is possible, with total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches possible by Tuesday. That's an adjustment from the initial report of 5 to 10 inches .

The average snowfall for the entire month of November in the Akron area is 3.3 inches.

The watch is in effect through 1 p.m. Monday in Lorain and Medina counties, which could see up to 4 inches of snow, and Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Summit and Portage counties, which could see 2 to 4 inches of snowfall.
