CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) said they're investigating after a man was shot by law enforcement and hospitalized Saturday night.
TBI said they believe an officer with the Gadsden Police Department in Crockett County was sent to a domestic dispute on Mason Grove Road in Gadsden, and a Crockett County Sheriff's Deputy also responded to the call to back up the officer.
"Upon entrance to the residence, and for reasons still under investigation," the agency said, "Law enforcement officers fired their service weapons striking a male subject who was subsequently hospitalized."
The bureau confirmed that no officers were injured in the incident, and said their findings in the case would be shared with the district attorney general, in this case Frederick A
