Ramban, Nov 9: The Srinagar–Jammu National Highway (NH-44) remained open for two-way movement of light, medium, and heavy vehicles on Sunday.

Traffic authorities informed that the highway would remain open on Monday as well, allowing two-way traffic of all types of vehicles, subject to fair weather and good road conditions.

However, vehicular movement remained slow at several single-lane stretches, including Balli Nullah, Dewal, Nashri–Dalwass, Maroog, and Kishtwari Pattar, mainly due to the breakdown of a few heavy vehicles along the route.

A fresh advisory issued by the Traffic Department for Monday stated that, if weather and road conditions permitted, light, medium, and heavy vehicles would be allowed to ply from both ends—Srinagar and Jammu.
