IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa Police Department is actively searching for Jerome (Jerry) Lepperd, a 73-year-old man who went missing after a football game at Kinnick Stadium on November 8, 2025.

Lepperd was last seen wearing glasses, a black rain jacket, black rain pants, and black tennis shoes. He might also be wearing a dark blue stocking hat. He has a bandage on his forehead due to recent surgery.

Lepperd, unfamiliar with the area, may become confused or disoriented. Although he did not have access to a vehicle, he may have been heading toward the Hancher parking lot.

The University of Iowa Police urge anyone with information about Lepperd's whereabouts to contact them immediately.
