IOWA CITY, Iowa —
The University of Iowa Police Department is searching for Jerome “Jerry” Lepperd, 73, who became separated from his group while leaving Kinnick Stadium after the Iowa–Oregon football game around 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Lepperd is 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, with blue eyes and light hair. He has a bandage on his forehead from a recent surgery. He was last seen wearing glasses, a black rain jacket with black rain pants, and black tennis shoes, and may also have been wearing a dark blue stocking cap.
Police said Lepperd is unfamiliar with the area and may become easily confused or disoriented. He did not have access to a vehicle and may have been headed toward the Hancher parking lot.
