EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Homeless Outreach Team has launched a QR code reporting system to report homeless encampments or related concerns.
“Our goal is to improve response efficiency while connecting individuals experiencing homelessness with resources and services,” the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post said.
Once the QR code is scanned, users can drop a pin at the homeless encampment location, and provide a description of the issue.
If the reporting party would like a call back, the user can include optional contact information.
The submissions go to the Homeless Outreach Team.
For future use purposes, you can take a screen shot of the QR code and store it in your photos folder.
