SALT LAKE CITY — The week 12 AP Top 25 college football poll was released today. Both BYU and Utah football saw movement, but in opposite directions.
The Utes jumped up two spots to No. 15, and the Cougars fell four spots to No. 12.
With the national spotlight shining bright in Lubbock, BYU football suffered its first loss of the season to the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
It was an emphatic win for the No. 9 team in the country at home. They scored all 29 of their points unanswered before the Cougars eventually got on the board late in the fourth quarter.
BYU had three turnovers, 67 yards rushing, and struggled to get momentum at any point during the week 11 contest.
