PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A shots-fired incident closed off part of North Frink Street in Peoria's West Bluff on Sunday afternoon.
Officers with the Peoria Police Department were called at 1:46 p.m. to the 1200 block of North Frink Street to a report of shots fired, said police spokeswoman Semone Roth.
Roth said it is unknown at this time how many shots were fired, and said no one was injured.
A WMBD crew on scene saw officers blocking off the area with caution tape and walking the street, placing what appeared to be approximately two dozen numbered markers.
No further information has been released, and no arrests have been made public.
