NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Hope that you enjoyed the last two days of above average temperatures and the cool down of Sunday morning because temperatures will be getting chilly heading into the evening hours as a Cold Front continues to draw near.
Sunday saw temperatures in the 70s for a high, but the evening will drop down to the upper 40s, but take a look at how the area will feel courtesy of the gusty winds:
The North Shore will have a Wind Chill with feel like temperatures in the 30s --- and we'll have more areas feeling like that or colder heading into Monday night!
That being said, if you have anything that can potentially be blown please either bring it indoors over the next 48-hours or lock it down so nothing gets damaged.
Also, if you have any sensitive plants, please bring those in
