MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEVV) — The City of Madisonville held its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Sunday, November 9, at 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial on North Main Street.

This event paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The ceremony was open to the public, and those unable to attend in person had the opportunity to watch the live stream on the City of Madisonville Facebook page.

Following the ceremony, a parade commenced at 2:00 p.m., traveling down East North Street, turning onto Main Street, and concluding on McCoy Avenue.

Authorities encouraged everyone to attend and thank the veterans for their service.
