SAN FRANCISCO — After resting at home for the past two games, Steph Curry will not return to the Warriors’ starting lineup for Sunday’s home matchup against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
He was listed as questionable on Saturday, and head coach Steve Kerr had previously told reporters in Denver on Friday that Curry’s condition had improved while recovering from an illness.
However, Curry was downgraded to “out” two hours before tipoff on Sunday.
Curry battled through an unspecified illness in the team’s 118-107 victory over the Suns at Chase Center on Tuesday, but was left coughing and sniffling afterwards. The 37-year-old guard then spent the team’s next two road games away from the team, resting at home instead.
