EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville Regional Airport is launching its first-ever Kindness Week.
Officials say the airport initiative is inspired by Breeze Airways and encourages the community to spread kindness.
According to a press release, the week-long celebration will kindness walls, where travelers can post notes of encouragement, visits from the airport’s therapy-dog team and a Kindness ambassadors.
They say each day will also feature local nonprofits:
Monday: Evansville Police Foundation, FOP Lodge 73 and Cops Connecting with Kids
Tuesday (Veterans Day): Honor Flight of Southern Indiana and Sanctuary on the Hill
Wednesday: University of Southern Indiana Disability Resources and Autism Everyone
Thursday: Borrowed Hearts Foundation and Isaiah 1:17 Project
Friday: United Way o
