MCLEAN COUNTY ( 25News Now ) - A 56-year-old man is jailed on felony charges for allegedly threatening to shoot people, including a McLean County school superintendent.
A school custodian told Colfax Police that the suspect, Jackwin Alverzios, claimed he would go to Ridgeview School District #19 Superintendent Erik Young’s house and “take care of him.”
The custodian said Alverzios “seemed crazy enough to do it,” according to a court document.
Alverzios is also said to have written a letter on Thursday to the head of maintenance at Ridgeview schools, stating he was harassed and manipulated by Young, and that the superintendent “put him in a rage.
The court document said Alverzios was not going to be a target anymore, and that he would fight Young “tooth and nail” over the situation.
