ORO VALLEY, Ariz. - According to the Oro Valley Police Department, there is an increased police presence in the area of the Oro Valley Country Club, Sunday afternoon.

Police are searching for a suspect who they say stole a car and then ran from the area.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, medium build, grey shirt, black shorts with a backpack. He was last seen in the area of Rapa Pl and Golf View.

If you see someone in the area that matches this description please call 911. If you live in this area, OVPD urges you to lock your doors and vehicles. Also, they advise to bring your pets inside if possible as a police K9 is working the area.
