A Shoalhaven man has been jailed after pleading guilty to eight offences related to sexual assault, grooming, producing child abuse material, and indecent assault of minors.

The 24-year-old appeared before the Nowra District Court via audio-visual link on Wednesday, November 5, when Judge Christopher O'Brien jailed him for four years and six months, with a non-parole period of two years and six months.

The judge noted there was a "power imbalance" in the offences and that the offender took advantage of the victims' "immaturity".

"The offending was not isolated or impulsive," Judge O'Brien said.

Court documents revealed eight primary offences committed between 2017 and 2023 involving two male minors, with a further four charges being considered during sentencing.
