Who is the best ninja in the world? The World Ninja League is hoping to find out.
This weekend, they hosted a day-long event to start their search.
Tier 1 regional qualifier at Sinai Sports began on Saturday and concluded on Sunday evening.
This was a preliminary competition that brought out over 100 participants ages 6 and up.
Stephen Dvoranchik, director of operations at Sinai Sports, said, "It's just a really unique sport. It's gained a lot of popularity in the last couple of years, and one of the main reasons it gained in popularity was due to the show American Ninja Warrior. So from that, lots of little gyms started to pop up. We have kids ourselves who were watching the show and said, 'That looks awesome, we want to do that.'
