At about 6 p.m., crews from the Atwood Hose Fire Company, Plainfield Police Department and American Legion Ambulance were dispatched to the scene on Green Hollow Road.
Crews say the driver self-extricated from the vehicle and was taken to the Plainfield Backus Emergency Care Center for treatment of their injuries.
There is a sharp, blind curve on Green Hollow Road in the area of the town line. We have responded to several accidents in this area over the years, including some with serious and even fatal injuries,"
