SEBREE, Ky. (WEHT) -- A Webster County church hosted a free meal for those in need tonight.
Calvary Life Center in Sebree opened its doors for a free spaghetti dinner. Canned items and shelf stable foods were also offered to people to take home. Organizers say they just wanted to do what they could to help others.
“With all that's going on in the States right now, in the United States, there's a need for this, and so with that we stepped up very quickly, we put this together within, with less than a week, and so we didn't have all that we would like to have, but so far it's been a blessing it seems like to the community, and this is just the beginning of what we're doing,” Pastor Nolan Gillenwater.
