WASHINGTON, D.C. (WCAX) - An end to the 40-day government shutdown is in sight Sunday night as a group of moderate democrats have agreed to a path forward.
The group agreed to move forward without a guaranteed extension of health care subsidies creating tension with others in the party who wanted to continue the fight.
The deal would also include a future vote on health care subsidies which wouldn’t be guaranteed and a reversal of the mass firings of federal workers.
