WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Flight nurse and paramedic Allan Williams was killed Saturday afternoon when the Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter he was on crashed in Wilson County, critically injuring two other crew mates.

The helicopter went down in Lebanon shortly after taking off from Gallatin’s airport. Data from FlightAware shows the chopper was in the air for eight minutes from takeoff when it crashed.

Williams was on board alongside two crew members who remain in critical condition.
