Dozens of HMOs have been approved in Nuneaton and Bedworth in just over a year. That is according to the results of a Freedom of Information Act (FOI) request CoventryLive made to the Town Hall.

We asked for the council how many House in Multiple Occupancy (HMO) applications, Class C4, have been approved so far this financial year, from April 2025 until the end of October, and also the full financial year for 2024/2025.

The results of the FOI have revealed that. since April of this year, eight HMO applications have been approved. The total for the financial year 2024/25 stood at 39.

Overall, since April 2024 until the end of October, there have been 47 HMOs approved. This is across Nuneaton and Bedworth .
