Richmond police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that left one man dead near Potrero Avenue and Carlson Boulevard.

Officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots around 8 p.m. and found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in a press release Sunday night. A second victim later arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound, though his condition and whether the injury was related to the same incident remain unclear.

Homicide detectives are leading the investigation, and no arrests have been made. This marks Richmond’s third homicide of the year, according to police.
