Vikas Kumar, 25, a science graduate from a local college in Jehanabad, drives an autorickshaw to make ends meet. Like many educated youths in Bihar, he hopes the government formed after the current Assembly elections will change his fortunes.

"We've heard promises of welfare and jobs in every election. This time, we want action — a real change, a new beginning," he told PTI, as fellow autorickshaw drivers gathered at the Jehanabad Bus Stand to share their expectations from the 2025 polls.

For educated youth like Kumar, unemployment remains a major concern. He wants a government that creates jobs and reduces the need for migration to other states.
