Gerwyn Price believes he may have beaten James Wade at the Grand Slam of Darts with his pre-match fighting talk backstage.

Price thrashed Wade 5-0 in their Group D clash on Sunday to keep his chances of qualification for the knockouts alive.

The Welshman is second behind Ricky Evans, who beat him 5-4, with Stefan Bellmont his final group opponent on Monday night.

Price may be mates with Wade when they're not competing for darts glory at the oche.
