It will be a cold start to the week across Mississippi with many parts of the state seeing a freeze overnight. Here’s your statewide forecast from the National Weather Service.

After the overnight freeze thaws out, Monday’s highs will climb into the lower 40s as the sun comes out. After nightfall, lows will be in the mid 20s with widespread frost expected.

It should be a sunny Monday with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Come nighttime, widespread frost is expected with lows in the mid 20s.

Highs on Monday will be in the lower 50s with plenty of sunshine. Come nighttime, lows will drop into the upper 20s with widespread frost expected.
