ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Snow showers across the region are expected today with the flakes ramping up with lake-effect snow taking over through the evening. Temperatures are going to hold in the low 30s and upper 20s throughout the day.
Expect accumulation to be minimal through sunset, but a west-northwest wind ramps up tonight. That will create snow showers that accumulate along the 104 corridor moving east from Rochester. Temperatures are plenty cold enough to warrant accumulating snow through sunrise Tuesday.
Interactive Radar
Some areas in Wayne County could see 3-6" of snow, while others around Monroe County will be closer to the 2-4" range. Those north of the metro will be on the higher end of that while others further south will see the lower number.
