Rain showers and some isolated thunderstorms are expected across Massachusetts on Monday evening into the night.

The weather will shift to much colder temperatures and blustery conditions for Veterans Day on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The Berkshires are expected to see the first accumulating snow of the season with up to 2 inches possible, while brief showers could reach as far as the coast.

Temperatures will start to dip overnight into the 30s in most of the state, with the upper 20s possible in higher terrain regions of western Massachusetts.

Expect a chilly start to Tuesday with wind chills dropping temperatures into the upper teens and 20s by daybreak.
