A former drummer has launched a business selling stunning homewares constructed from unwanted drum kits.
Darren Wilkie received his first drum kit at the age of 14, and after eventually getting bored of it - the kit became 'another surface for a messy teen'. During the pandemic , he upcycled his kit into a table and shared it online.
After people got in touch to ask if he could make another one, things began to snowball. He's since made planters, trays, tables, clocks, lamps, pet beds and more - all from unwanted drum kits.
He's now gone full-time with the business, and has sold items across three continents. Darren said: "When I was 14, I was given my first drum kit. While I played it for many years, I eventually moved on to others and this old kit became just another surface for
