The Miami Dolphins have nothing to lose, and against the Buffalo Bills, they played like it.

Heading into Sunday with a 2-7 record, and without star wide receiver Tyreek Hill , little was expected of Mike McDaniel 's outfit against a genuine Super Bowl contender .

But powered by running back De’Von Achane -- who racked up 174 yards and two touchdowns on the ground -- and a solid performance from much-criticised quarterback Tua Tagovailoa , Miami secured a shock 30-13 victory.

It was the kind of win that can spark a team into life through the second half of the 2025 NFL season, after plenty of pundits and fans had described it as dead in the water just days ago.
