President Trump slammed the British Broadcasting Corporation Sunday after two top officials resigned over the airing of doctored footage of Trump’s remarks ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

“These are very dishonest people who tried to step on the scales of a Presidential Election,” Trump posted on Truth Social has he returned to Washington from a weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

“On top of everything else, they are from a Foreign Country, one that many consider our Number One Ally. What a terrible thing for Democracy!”
