DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The coldest air since February is filtering in to The Wiregrass, prompting cold weather advisories and freeze watches and warnings areawide.
Monday morning got off to a chilly start, with temperatures starting off in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees. "Feels like" temperatures, or wind chills, were in the lower and middle 30s.
Even with sunny skies, breezy conditions will quickly filter in a chilly airmass Monday, keeping high temperatures in the 40s.
Tuesday morning will start off in the middle and upper 20s, and both a freeze and widespread frost are likely areawide. A hard freeze cannot be completely ruled out for our area.
