Jaipur: Taking action against eight doctors, who had allegedly obtained their registrations using forged documents, the Rajasthan Medical Council has cancelled their licenses following an internal probe.

In the recent General Body Meeting (GBM), three older cases among these eight were confirmed, and five new cases were also identified.

First India has reported that several doctors had allegedly bypassed appearing in the mandatory screening test, i.e. Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) and submitted falsified degrees or credentials from institutes abroad. As per the Daily, while the registrations of five doctors were cancelled, earlier suspensions of three doctors were upheld.
