Adilabad: Family members of a woman who died in a road accident staged a dharna on Monday, demanding the arrest of the car driver accused of causing her death by rash and negligent driving at Bazarhathnoor mandal centre on Sunday evening.
Police said Kaninde Rathna, 48, of Bazarhathnoor mandal headquarters, suffered grievous injuries when a car rammed into the bullock cart in which she was travelling, leading to her instant death. Her son Lakshman sustained minor injuries and was admitted to a hospital. A case has been registered a
