Srinagar ~ In a major legal push to curb the misuse of judicial relief by individuals facing terror-related charges, Jammu and Kashmir Police have moved to cancel bail for at least 33 accused booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) across Sopore, Anantnag, and Shopian districts. Officials said the accused were found violating bail conditions and allegedly re-engaging in activities detrimental to public order and security.

In Sopore, police identified 11 individuals booked under UAPA who had been granted bail by the court but were later found flouting bail conditions.
