For Dylan McCormack-Woolacoot, finding a place to sleep at night is a moving target.
Seated outside a Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub in Toronto, he explained his current strategy. He’ll typically set up a tent behind the centre around 8 p.m. At sunrise, staff wake up him and “gently” tell him that he can’t stay here.
The HART Hubs were created as part of the province’s plan to move away from harm reduction and get people into treatment and housing.
