A busy start to the week for Dario Gjergja, with the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina welcoming him as the new selector of the senior national team heading to the Qualifiers of the FIBA World Cup 2027, and Limoges CSP announcing a contract extension.
Both deals concerning the 50-year-old tactician were confirmed on Monday.
At the helm of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Gjergja succeeded Adis Beciragic, who was in charge over the last few years, achieving 13th place in the recent EuroBasket 2025 and 18th in the 2022 edition. Starting from November 27 against Turkiye in Istanbul, the next challenge is in Group C of the European Qualifiers, with a six-game schedule stretching from Turkiye to Serbia and Switzerland.
