CLEVELAND — Mark Johnson is returning to local television as a meteorologist here at WKYC starting Monday, Nov. 10.

Bringing more than three decades of trusted weather expertise and community connection to the role, Johnson will deliver forecasts weekdays during WKYC's broadcasts at 5, 7 and 11 p.m.

A lifelong Cleveland resident and prominent local figure, Johnson served as meteorologist at WEWS in Cleveland for more than 30 years, beginning in 1993. He is renowned for his precision in forecasting and his unwavering dedication to keeping viewers informed. His distinguished career includes multiple Emmy Awards for excellence in weather broadcasting, and in 2024, he was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame, cementing his status as one of the region’s most trusted meteorologists.
