Delhi Blast: A massive explosion was reported on Monday evening in a car parked near Delhi’s Red Fort, triggering panic in the area. Initial reports revealed that the blast left several people injured, while at least eight people, including street vendors, were killed in the incident. The national capital has been placed on a high alert following the blast.
According to the Delhi Fire Department, a call was received regarding a major explosion in a car near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, after which three to four vehicles also caught fire and sustained damage. As many as seven fire tenders, along with the Delhi Police Special Cell, arrived at the spot.
