A massive explosion near Delhi’s Lal Qila metro station, Gate No. 1, on Monday, around 6.55 pm, led to multiple casualties, with at least ten confirmed deaths. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached LNJP hospital to meet the injured. He will head to the blast site shortly.

Before arriving at the site, the Home Minister told news agency ANI, “This evening, around 7 pm, a blast occurred in a Hyundai i20 car at the Subhash Marg traffic signal near the Red Fort in Delhi. The blast injured some pedestrians and damaged some vehicles. Preliminary reports indicate that some people have lost their lives.
