A Franklin couple is pledging thousands to a local nonprofit to help make sure the community doesn't go hungry this holiday season.

Local businessman and community leader Chuck McDowell and his philanthropist wife Jo Ellen McDowell have established a $100,000 matching challenge and invited the community to join them in donating to OneGenAway through Dec. 31.
